Karnataka Government Recruitment :- Various Departments of Karnataka Government such as District & Sessions Judge, Uttara Kannada, Karwar, District & Sessions Court, Ramanagara, District & Sessions Judge, Kodagu, Centre for Multi-Disciplinary Development Research (CMDR), District & Sessions Judge, Kodagu and Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Dharwad have announced notification for the posts of Stenographer, Typist, Typist-Copyist, Process Server, Peon, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor and Junior Programmer. Educational Qualifications :

  • For Category 1, Candidates should possess SSLC or equivalent examination and must have passed Senior Grade Typewriting examinations both in Kannada and English language or equivalent examination with Senior Grade Stenography examinations both in Kannada and English Language for Stenographer, SSLC or equivalent examination and must have passed Senior Grade Typewriting examinations both in Kannada and English language or equivalent examination for Typist, SSLC or equivalent examination and must have passed Junior Grade Typewriting examinations both in Kannada and English language or equivalent examination for Typist-Copyist, S.S.L.C./ Equivalent & LMV/ HMV driving licence for Process Server, 7th Class/ Equivalent for Peon.
  • For Category 2, Candidates should possess SSLC or equivalent examination and must have passed Senior Grade Typewriting examinations both in Kannada and English language or equivalent examination with Senior Grade Stenography examinations both in Kannada and English Language for Stenographer, SSLC or equivalent examination and must have passed Senior Grade Typewriting examinations both in Kannada and English language or equivalent examination for Typist, SSLC or equivalent examination and must have passed Junior Grade Typewriting examinations both in Kannada and English language or equivalent examination for Typist-Copyist.
  • For Category 3, Candidates should possess SSLC or equivalent examination and must have passed Senior Typewriting examinations both in Kannada and English language or equivalent examination.
  • For Category 4, Candidates should have good academic record with Ph.D Degree in the concerned/ allied/ relevant subjects disciplines and Master Degree with at least 55% marks with 8 years experience of research or teaching in academic or research position for post- 1, good academic record with Ph.D Degree in the concerned/ allied/ relevant subjects disciplines and Master Degree with at least 55% marks for post-2.
  • For Category 5, Candidates should possess SSLC or equivalent examination and must have passed Junior Typewriting examinations both in Kannada and English language or equivalent examination.
  • For Category 6, Candidates should possess Diploma in Computer Application from the Board of Technical Education.

Age Limits :

  • For Category 1 & 2, Candidates age limit should be between 18 – 35 years for General, 38 years for Cat-2A, Cat-2B, Cat-3A, Cat-3B, 40 years for SC/ ST Category-I Candidates as on 31-07-2017.
  • For Category 3 & 5, Candidates age limit should be between 18 – 35 years for General, 18- 38 years for Cat-2A, Cat-2B, Cat-3A, Cat-3B & 18- 40 years for SC/ ST Category-I Candidates as on 08-07-2017.
  • For Category 4, Candidates age should be below 35 years.

Selection Procedure :

  • For Category 1, 2 3 & 5, Candidates will be selected based on Computer Proficiency Test.
  • For Category 4, Candidates will be selected based on Personal Interview.

  • For Category 1, Candidates have to pay Rs.200/- for General, Cat-2A, Cat-2B, Cat-3A, Cat-3B, Rs.100/- for SC, ST, Cat-1 & PH candidates in State Bank of India online payment through net banking/ credit card/ debit card/ challan.
  • For Category 2, Candidates have to pay Rs.100/- for General, Cat-2A, Cat-2B, Cat-3A, Cat-3B, Rs.50/- for SC, ST, Cat-1 & PH candidates in State Bank of India online payment through net banking/ credit card/ debit card/ challan.
  • For Category 3 & 5, Candidates have to pay Rs.300/- for General category, Rs.150/- for SC, ST & PH candidates in State Bank of India online payment through net banking/ credit card/ debit card.
